Dr. Frederic Dankoff
After graduating from McGill medicine, Dr. Dankoff completed a Family Medicine residency at St. Mary’s Hospital. For the past 10 years he has been working as an emergency physician at the Royal Victoria Hospital Emergency Department of the McGill University Health Centre.
Dr. Dankoff has worked previously for the James Bay Cree at the Chisasibi Health Centre, providing emergent care, in-hospital care, and support for medevacs.
He has extensive teaching experience, including at McGill University, directly in the emergency department, in Chisasibi for rural rotations, and delivering various other lectures to both students and residents.
Dr. Dankoff is currently site director of the Royal Victoria Hospital’s emergency department. He served as the department’s interim site director for one year prior to assuming his current position.
