MUHC professionals, including Dr. Porter, gave talks in celebration of Black History Month at the Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC.

"The Haitian/Canadian/American Experience in Managing Diversity" - Sharon Abish, M.D., Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology Oncology, Director of the Sickle Cell Program, MCH
"What is sickle cell disease and who should know about it?" - Abbas Kerim-Dikeni, M.D., CCRP, Clinical Research Coordinator, RVH
"Cultural Issues in Reproductive Health in Togo, West Africa"
Talks were held in room C-417 between 11 AM and 12 PM.
Between 11 AM and 2 PM, there was for rap, tap, hip-hop and stepping by students from the Lakeside Academy in the Montreal Children's Hospital Site's 2nd Floor waiting area
There were also arts and crafts and Caribbean cooking in the MCH's Tiny Tim Café.
