A Not So Silent Night: Christmas with the Wainwrights and McGarrigles
Join these legendary music families for a benefit concert kicking-off the holiday season on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 8:00 pm at Théâtre St-Denis.
This star-studded event, featuring renowned Montreal artists Rufus and Martha Wainwright, and Anna McGarrigle, will lend their talents to raise money for The Kate McGarrigle Fund of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation. They will be performing alongside special guests Robert Charlebois, Monique Mercure, Chloé Saint-Marie, Michèle Mercure, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Jane McGarrigle, Chaim Tannebaum, Joel Zifkin, Brad Albetta, Michel Pépin, Thomas Bartlett, Doug Wieselman and David Berger.
Exclusive tickets are on-sale for $500 and include:
- a charitable tax receipt for $350
- a front of the house concert ticket

- an entry to an intimate post-show cocktail with the performers.

The Kate McGarrigle Fund was established in 2008 by Kate and her family and friends as a tribute to the care she received at the internationally renowned teaching hospitals of McGill University. The Fund supports teaching and research in Oncology. Three fellowships as of $20,000 each have already been awarded to young researchers studying various aspects of sarcoma treatment.
A Not So Silent Night: Christmas with the Wainwrights and McGarrigles is a presentation of the Jazz All-Year Round series presented by TD, as part of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. General tickets are also on-sale at ticketpro.ca All ticket sales will benefit the Fund.
