The MUHC Foundation held a mid-morning press conference at Complexe les Ailes to promote the Shop a Little, Give a Lot event and to get the word out to dedicated Montreal shoppers.

The first annual Shop a Little, Give a Lot event kicked off with a lively fashion show at Place Ville Marie’s central food court.

The first annual Shop a Little, Give a Lot fundraiser was a resounding success with 200+ retailers from 13 greater Montreal malls donating 5% of their weekend sales to the Women’s Health Mission of the MUHC.

At Angrignon Park on October 20, 216 participants joined in the fun at the first Run for Your Life event in support of the McGill University Health Centre.

This New Faces, New Ideas lecture by Dr. Gerald Fried, Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Dr. Liane Feldman, MIS transplant specialist, gave audience members the chance to hear first-hand about the exciting work being done in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery by the McGill University Heath Centre’s talented professionals.
