Glen Campus: Consortia begin to put first design ideas on paper
Steady progress is being made with the procurement process for the Glen Campus, and our work with the bidding consortia continues to move forward. The bidders have now had the chance to fully absorb all of the requirements included in our Request for Proposals and to ask any follow-up questions they had on our output specifications. With this preparation complete, they have begun to put their first, preliminary design ideas on paper. These ideas will then be expanded, revised, elaborated and refined through the user group meetings that will begin in the first week of December. It may be early days, but it is still exciting to realize that the first elements of the designs for the Glen are beginning to take shape as we speak!

Mountain campus: Excellent progress with City means zoning approval imminent
Up the hill at the Mountain Campus, we continue to work with the City of Montreal to secure the zoning changes needed to begin construction of our new and expanded pavilions. This process has gone exceptionally smoothly, paving the way for the City to adopt the necessary bylaws as early as December. From public consultations to meetings with community groups and stakeholders like Héritage Montréal and Les amis de la montagne, to the creation of an Accord de développement with the City, we have worked extremely hard to ensure our plans for the Mountain Campus meet the needs all of our stakeholders. With the bylaw changes in place, we can proceed with construction with full confidence that our community stands behind the project.
