Jacques Filion

Jacques Filion, Managing Partner of the BDO Dunwoody LLP Montreal office, has over 25 years experience in public accounting delivering audit services and management advice to entrepreneurial minded organizations. He developed his expertise in providing consultation services to owner-manager businesses operating in various industries.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales in 1977, and his Chartered Accountant designation in 1979. Mr. Filion has taught auditing and financial accounting at Université du Québec à Montréal for 12 years.

Mr. Filion is currently a member of the Board of directors of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, President of the Lachine Hospital Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation.
