Joan Ivory

Joan Ivory

Joan Ivory was born in Montreal in 1933. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from McGill University in 1954, and a Diploma from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 1955.

Mrs. Ivory has made extensive contributions to the McGill hospital community. She served on the board of the Montreal Chest Institute from 1986 to 1994 and was auxiliary president of that board for two years. From 1988 to 1998, Mrs. Ivory was a member of the board of the Royal Victoria Hospital. She also chaired the Montreal Chest Institute Hospital Foundation for three years.

Mrs. Ivory has served on the Boards of the National Ballet of Canada, the Study School Foundation, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. She is also chair of the MUHC Foundation's Communications Committee.
