Xmas party On November 25th, 350 children of the staff of the MUHC kicked off the holiday season at the Centre Mont Royal with the Kids’ Holiday Party. Staff members and their children were out in full force, alongside parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. By all accounts, a wonderful time was had by the 1000+ people who attended. Cuddly mascots, led by the Children’s Caramel, were also on-hand: Sponge Bob, Goofy, Curious George, and Tigger assured us that this was the best holiday fun they’d had in years.

A special thanks to Dr. Ken Shaw from the Children’s and Dominic Caruso from housekeeping for being our Santas, as well as to Little Bear Productions, who provided our circus-themed entertainment while dressed in beautiful elf costumes that perfectly captured the holiday spirit. A big thank-you also goes to Sodexho, the provider of the day’s tasty treats. And, last but not least, warm congratulations to the organizing committee for doing such a wonderful job on this popular event, which was a collaborative effort of the Foundations of the MUHC, Volunteer Services, Human Resources, and the Quality of Life at Work Committees. We’re already looking forward to next year’s edition of this freshly renewed annual tradition.
