McGarrigle Christmas Hour - NYC, 2008

McGarrigle Christmas HourKate and Anna McGarrigle held their 2008 Christmas Concert on December 10 at Carnegie Hall in support of the Fund. They were joined onstage and in song by Rufus and Martha Wainwright and other very special musical guests (including Emmylou Harris, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Jimmy Fallon, and Justin Bond) for the McGarrigle Christmas Hour.

In keeping with the season’s spirit of giving, a limited number of Concert Packages were made available by the Kate McGarrigle Fund and were sold through donations to the Fund. Proceeds from these Packages went towards the Kate McGarrigle Fund in support of cancer care and research in Montreal, Canada. The Packages included the following exclusive benefits:

  • A ticket for the concert
    (an excellent centre seat near the front of the house)
  • The opportunity to attend a “meet and greet”
    with the performers after the show
  • A gift bag

These Concert Packages were acquired by donation to the Kate McGarrigle Fund. Donors also received an invitation to attend a taping of the show the day following the concert.
