Shopping weekend event a success for Women’s Health

1 Oct 2007

Shopping in our city has always been great but the weekend of September 29 and 30 made it even better. The Shop a Little, Give a Lot event took over thirteen Montreal malls, as retailers generously donated 5% of all their weekend profits to the Women’s Health Mission of the McGill University Health Centre.

Excitement grew in the community as our celebrity spokesperson, Genevieve Borne, spread the word through her energetic radio and television appearances. Elle Quebec, 7 Jours, Magazine Adorable, and many other media outlets featured Shop a Little, Give a Lot and built buzz for what was definitely a great weekend for shoppers and the MUHC Foundation alike.

Major retailers who generously came aboard for this exciting fundraiser included: Dynamite/Garage, Reitman’s, La Senza, Linen Chest, Stokes, Bentley, Buffalo, Bikini Village, Cinemas Guzzo, Clair de Lune, Parasuco, Bovet, and many more of your favourite stores! Participating shopping centres include Eaton Centre, Les Ailes, Place Vertu, and the Rockland Centre.
