Research Needs

research imageAs the McGill University Health Centre implements its redevelopment plan, the Research Institute will also see exciting changes. This is already underway, as the researchers with the RI continue to work towards fascinating medical breakthroughs. Such breakthroughs, however, require funding for the tangible resources such as infrastructure and materials necessary for the research to take place. The Research Institute has its own needs for its present and for its future and your donations can help take research to the next level at the MUHC.

Of the $300 million goal of the Best Care for Life campaign, $80 million will go directly towards equipment and infrastructure at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, which will soon be housed at new facilities known as the Centre for Innovative Medicine at the Glen Site.  This Centre will act as a clinical trials facility, which will help bring cutting-edge research from the researchers' labs to the patients' bedsides.
