On Saturday, October 20, 2007, 216 enthusiastic participants came out for the first annual MUHC Run for Your Life! in support of the Best Care for Life campaign.

The first annual Shop a Little, Give a Lot fundraiser was a resounding success with 200+ retailers from 13 greater Montreal malls donating 5% of their weekend sales to the Women’s Health Mission of the MUHC.

Cloudy weather was no deterrent to the sold-out crowd of 264 golfers who brought their clubs and their philanthropic spirit to the Elm Ridge Golf and Country Club on July 9, 2007 for the 29th Annual Cedars Cancer Institute Golf Tournament.

Minimally Invasive Surgery, as performed at the MUHC by Doctors Fried and Feldman, was the star of the show at the MUHC Foundation’s New Faces, New Ideas breakfast. 

The public launch of the MUHC’s Best Care for Life campaign was a festive two-day affair that began with presentations and activities at all five hospital sites and wound up with a gala launch finale at Centre Mont-Royal.
