Private rooms reduce spread of disease

Montreal Gazette journalist Aaron Derfel sheds light on a study conducted by a group of researchers at the MUHC which suggests that single patient rooms can significantly reduce the spread of disease among hospital patients.The MUHC’s decision to create over 900 single patient rooms over the course of its redevelopment at the Glen, and Mountain campuses reflects the fact that patients are undoubtedly a number one priority.  Read the article by clicking here.
