Dr. Preetha Krishnamoorthy Biography
Dr. Preetha Krishnamoorthy
After studying medicine at McGill University, Dr. Krishnamoorthy completed her residency in pediatrics at The Montreal Children’s Hospital, where she served as the chief resident from 1999 to 2000.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy trained as a pediatric endocrinologist, and most recently became the director of undergraduate education at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in 2011.
She is the proud mother of two “awesome” children, and notes that she has a “very patient husband who puts up with me doing these crazy things".
When not walking the halls of the Children’s, Dr. Krishnamoorthy teaches aerobics at the West Island YMCA, where she has been an instructor since 1997.
