Gifts in Will

Build your legacy by leaving a gift to the MUHC Foundation in your Will

This is the most important gift you will ever make

By leaving a gift in your Will to the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation, you are ensuring the future of healthcare for the generations to come. Legacy gifts are vital in making sure that the MUHC is here for you and your loved ones when it matters most, both today and in the future. Anyone is capable of leaving their mark by making a gift in their Will.

Also known as a bequest, a gift in your Will is one of the simplest ways to make a significant gift – perhaps larger than you ever thought possible. In your Will, you can choose to leave the MUHC Foundation a specific sum of money or a percentage of your estate. When a bequest is realized, the Foundation will issue a donation receipt for the gift.

By planning today, you can have a tremendous impact on transforming healthcare for patients and their families for generations to come.

The MUHC Foundation and Fondation de l'HGJ - JGH Foundation are proud to announce a joint gift from Power Corporation of Canada in support of work being done at both hospitals for a Canada-wide study exploring treating COVID-19 patients with the blood plasma of those who’ve recovered from the disease. The technique involves transferring antibodies to sick patients, triggering the immune response needed to beat the virus. Just one example of how the top clinicians and researchers across Quebec and Canada are coming together through MI4 to innovate and save lives.
