Dozens of physicians, researchers, and staff from the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) braved the rain and cold weather over the weekend to take part in the 2019 Scotiabank Charity Challenge as part of the MUHC Foundation’s Run for a Reason.

As an official charity of the Scotiabank Charity Challenge which took place April 27 and 28 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, the Foundation worked closely with its supporters at the hospital and staff to sign up to fundraise and participate in one of the races offered, from the lengthy 21km or 10km races, to the 5km stroller friendly distance, and even the 1km Kids Run.

Funds raised through the MUHC Foundation’s Run for a Reason support world-class patient care, the purchase of new state-of-the-art equipment, and innovative research at the MUHC. Every dollar raised stays right here in our community and supports the priorities that matter to you.
