In Memory of a Loved One

A donation in memory of a family member, friend or loved one who was treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is a thoughtful way to create a significant and lasting tribute.

We will send a beautiful condolence card to the bereaved family acknowledging your kind gesture and you will receive a tax receipt and a note of thanks for your generosity. The amount of your gift will be kept strictly confidential.

If you chose to donate online, you also have the option of sending an e-card.

For families who have lost a loved one

Choosing to commemorate a loved one by requesting a donation be made in their memory to our hospital is a meaningful way to bring comfort to those who share your loss, while also helping others.

Our Foundation would be pleased to provide In Memoriam brochures or personalized donation forms for you to share at a memorial service or celebration of life ceremony. We can provide these directly to you, send them to the funeral home of your choosing, or you can download our customizable form – making giving an in memoriam gift easy, at a time when you have more important things to focus on.

For more information about making an in memoriam donation and honouring your loved one please contact:
Patricia Nahal, Senior Coordinator Donor Relations
514 843-1543, ext. 34147 or email: info@muhcfoundation.com
